To execute, spring loaded knurled body is to be pushed down until it is in contact with the work surface. A light stroke on the punch will mark the workpiece below, right in the centre of the hole
Will accommodate itself automatically to any hole size in the range approximately 3/16” (5 mm) to 1-3/16” (30 mm)
